Formatting dates in Crystal Reports

If you place a datetime within your report,  chances are when you place drop it within your report it will be displayed as 11/02/2003 00:00:00.

To format your datetime field so that it displays as an simple date field,  you can simple use the Format Editor.

1. Place your datetime within your report

2. Right click on the field and select the Format Field menu.

3. Under Style, click to hightlight the disired format and click OK.  If you do not see the desired format, you can click on the Customize button which will open the Custom Style dialog window.
